Getting To The Show
The Odyssey Arena is located on the east side of the river Lagan in Belfast, in the Lagan side development.
Getting there:
- BY CAR: The Arena is clearly sign-posted on all major routes. An electronic messaging system will regularly direct and update drivers with all necessary information.
- BY COACH: There is a coach drop off point immediately outside the Odyssey and a limited on-site coach park.
- BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: A bus service will be in operation between Belfast city centre and the Odyssey complex. The Arena is located only 5 minutes walk away for the Lagan side bus centre via the Queens Bridge or the Lagan Weir.
- BY TRAIN: The Arena is located 10minutes from the Central Station.
Parking
1500 spaces are available, those closest to the Arena are reserved for vehicles showing the Orange disabled driver badge. Car parking is shared with Storm Cinemas, Imax and the restaurants in the Pavilion so parking may be limited. Cost first half hour free or else 50p per hour during the day. Pre-paid for 6 hours: £2.00.
General Rules
Food and drink is NOT allowed to be brought into the venue. The arena sells a variety of snack foods and confectionary including hot dogs, fries, burgers, pizza, crisps, chocolate and hot and cold drinks. Food may be taken into the arena while patrons enjoy the game/event. There is a fully licensed bar and the food outlets have a limited/occasional license depending on the nature of the event. Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult.
Special Needs
The Odyssey Arena is a brand new venue and has good accessibility. All main entrances to the building are accessible via flat or gently sloping pathways. Vertical access is provided principally by 3 twelve person lifts. The seating is contiguous, however as availability is limited these spaces are for one wheelchair user and one companion only to allow other wheelchair users access to these sections.
