A Massive Success!

White Wedding Pages, Wedding Extravaganza show at the Odyssey Arena Belfast was a massive success; brides and grooms-to-be, their friends and families flocked in their thousands; the queue's didn’t deter them as they waited patiently to get into the show. (even in the pouring rain).There was a tremendous buzz and great atmosphere over the three days.

Highlights & Features included:

  • Over 150 exhibitors to cover every wedding category imaginable. For example : Balloons, Bands, Beauty, Bridalwear, Bridesmaids, Cakes, Cars, Caterers, Chocolate Fountains, Dance Classes, Event Decoration, Favours, Financial, Flowers, Grooms wear, Guest wear, Hats, Hen & Stag, Honeymoons, Jewellery, Marquees, Mother of the Bride, Photography, Speech Preparation, Stationery, Tiaras, Venues, Videographers, Wedding Insurance, Wedding Lists and Wedding Planners
  • The famous Wedding Extravaganza catwalk show sponsored by City Beat and Wedding TV was an inspirational preview for the NEW 2008 collections: it was unmissable! Both the ladies and the gentlemen loved it!
  • New for 2008, we were delighted to be joined by celebrity wedding planners, Ant & Dick, who hosted the fashion show and offered free make overs for brides and their mums over the three days, the ladies loved getting pampered!
  • Wedding TV, joined us this year which was the first show in Ireland they have filmed, and they interviewed lots of bride in their 'Love Pod' for tv and also offered some great prizes. Catch the re-run of the show on WeddingTV sky channel 266.
  • Win a £25k Wedding Competition in association with the Daily Mirror and White Wedding Pages was won by Julie Devlin and John Barklie from Bangor. They are as excited, as you can imagine! Well done guys
  • Thousands of pounds worth of tickets were sold at the Win a Dream honeymoon stand in association with Sandals Resorts. All the proceeds go to Action Cancer / Breast Cancer awareness. Congratulations to Nathalie who won.
  • We arranged with Benjamin Roberts, to supply three fabulous gowns that we could give away to 3 lucky brides that where wearing their 'iam a bride to be' sticker. The surprised winners were: Rebecca McComb, Ciara Lundy and Charlene Cullen. Well done girls!
